New WAP Uploader now available! |

It's here at last. The new WAP Uploader is now ready for use, just register, login and click WAP UPLOADER on the main menu, it's free as usual!
With the WAP uploader you can:
- Transfer files to you mobile phone that you can't do using a data cable, infra-red or bluetooth (Free java games for example).
- Put multiple files up at the same time ready to download to your mobile.
- Allow others to download the same files to their phones also (for a limited time period).
- Download via a standard WAP page or using XHMTL for newer phone browsers.

Sagem to change to SAFRAN |

Following the recent merger between Sagem and Snecma a new name of SAFRAN for the merged company has be proposed by the Supervisory Board. SAFRAN is the French word for the rudder blade on a boat and also known as one of the spices, 'saffron' and supposedly encompasses the ideas of direction, goal, heading, movement and strategy. Sagem and Snecmas subsidiaries in the group will retain their names so although the Holding comany will become SAFRAN, Sagems communication arm is therefore likely to retain the name of Sagem Communications.

Sagem have annouced the release of the Myx-6-2, an updated of version of the Myx-6.
Specs are:
- 10Mb Internal memory
- Minin SD card support (up to 256Mb)
- Mp3 support
- 1.3Mp Digital Camera with 8x Digital Zoom
- 256k Colour Screen
- Java and WAP 2.0 Support
- Bluetooth

Not bad if it's going to priced similar to the Myx-6 but is it just me or should it be the Myx-7-2? It's a bit closer in terms of specification.
As an addition the MyV-66 is out, which is a cross between a Myx-7 and a Myx-8 customised for Vodafone with
- 1.3Mp Digital Camera (8x Zoom)
- 256K Colour Screen
- Bluetooth
- 40Mb internal memory
- Mini SD support
- Tri-band

New PlanetSagem site on the way! |

A revamped PlanetSagem.com website is on the way. The site has just entered the beta testing stage and I've been granted access. First impressions are that the interface is fairly funky, it's all done in flash. However, looking deeper it appears that the actual content (the important stuff) is exactly the same as the old site and Sagem have not listened to their users at all. The site is still a mixture of French and English with the forum being exactly the same as it was before. Overall it's just a new interface with extended loading times!
